Had to go to the coast. Drove through De Soto National Forest home. Nice.

Gorgeous. Absolutely loved the trace route from tupelo last year to the boil.

So thats south toward the gulf? What makes the color change in the water in your photo? Depth change? Looks so crisp like disturbed sediment water line from an inlet on left or something.

Looks like a blackwater stream, one that has a high tannic acid content. Water of blackwater streams often looks like brewed tea.

I worked for ENSR at the time. We were biomoniors on the Destin Pipeline. I don’t remember who held the permit, might have been Dave Thomas (no Wendy’s jokes). Sorry for the chat Nolen.
