Given I have the 80 now (recently renamed from WCW to OLAF = Over-Landy As Fxxx), and I'm all overlandy and stuff now, I decided I needed more appropriate shoes. So I ventured to REI. Also to consider is that I have giant feet. So I left with these.

I've been wearing them around for the past couple of days and really like them. I have traditionally been a Keens girl but these have opened my eyes to other overpriced off-road footwear.

JRC Glove: SHOP CHURCHILL WORK GLOVES

Perhaps this will calm @Bodean - work gloves - to wear w/ the Kuhls of course. I was going to wait until the order arrived before posting, but.... Became deeply disappointed lately in shoddy work gloves, even the standby Wells Lamonts are now from China and the Ace hardware hardly stocks them anyway. Recalled a glove review on Expedition Portal - and saw these at the end. Made in WA state since 1890 - Sold. Ordering pair of goatskin and what look to be the bargain elk hide smooth palm / roughout backs. Will report back.
 
Found out why all the guys are wearing kuhls (other than obvious ones)

Military get 40% on their site. Have @Bodean take orders for yall.

Haven't done it yet but an email to them from govt email is typically all they need. (If they don't recognize AF as military just shoot another mil guy an email)

The last time I checked the pay chart it all paid the same. Not my fault you didn't score high enough on the ASVAB to be in the USAF. Sorry Shush I couldn't resist! lol
