After all the 80 drama w/ the head gasket and fuel injector, We the Mexicans made it to this epic trip!

Nolen was the guy you hate and the one you love!

I would see Nolen hitting his precious 80 bad and then he would guide us through the obstacle and there was nothing to it!

Thanks Nolen great trail leader!

I felt kind of odd since there were no insults at all from any of the the Cotton Landers!

if any insults, it was from that sucker you guys call Bossman!...

Then again he's White Trash!...it was to be expected!

Thanks to all of you for putting up w/ us!

I'll work on a better coordination w/ these Mexicans for next time(if we're invited) to get w/ the Program and keep up!

We would never forget this trip, not to mention the great people that we went with!

What did I do now? Honestly can't think of a thing.... I was actually quite impressed that you got your rig running, made the trip, and did a great job driving up some of the tougher spots. You schooled me on escalator for sure. Sorry if I insulted you in any way. I assure you it was never my intention.

Wow what a trip! It's taken me till Friday to get a trip report together and pictures downloaded. I have been worn slap ass out and thankfully busy at work.

Put this place on your bucket list. If not for Cottonland, this place would be fly over country to me and it would be such a loss.

First off thanks to all who worked so hard to help Debbie and I get Bessie ready for the trip. Greg, Nolen, JT, Rob, Lenny and others. This trip would not have happened for us without your help. Thanks to Nolen, Bossman and Georg for answering some questions on the phone and giving me the reassurance that Bessie would be fine when she got to Moab. She was! BIG THANKS to Jrob for letting Bessie stay in the garage for a month and busting your ass to help me get her ready. Thanks for caravaninng out and back with me as well.

Thanks to Nolen for thinking out loud last summer about Cottonland making a trip to Moab in 2011. You did a great job planning it and promoting it and it showed.

Thank you Clutchee for rescuing me when my starter took a dump on the Excursion in Kilgore, Texas.

A few stats.
296 gallons of diesel in the X. $1125.75 adv price per gallon $3.79 Miles on trip 2891. adv mpg 9.75
She weighted 18520lb with a half a tank of diesel on the way home.
steer axle 3560
drive axle 6000
trailer axle 8960

Bessie got 341 miles of trail and Moab cruising put on her. Not sure why, but in steep inclines she poured fuel out of the filler neck like a full tap. It might be because of the duel filler neck on the aux tank. But she leaked quite a bit of fuel.
We put in 78 gallons at a cost of $288.03. She still has over a half a tank of petrol when she went back on the trailer.

I told Debbie that this was a top 10 week in my life. The panoramic views were amazing. It was great on the days Debbie drove, I just stared out the windshield in amazement. Bessie did great except for her winch and fuel leakage. Every bolt on her is lose and her ass has to be still sore. The Iron Piggy bumper took alot of abuse.
The group we traveled with and explored with are top shelf and that make the trip so much more special.
Thanks Woody for a great meal at Milt's!
I'm so glad our Cali bro's made the trip over. Georg it was great to have you along and I was so glad to meet TOPLOADER. He meshed well with Cottonland. Thanks also for fixing supper two nights.
Dan another Cali guest star constantly made pictures and had the skills to get the shot even if he had to run a half mile away to get it. You get Georg to a Cottonland event, you know Charles is going to be there.

It was such a great experience. We missed so many of you back home and wished all the time that you were with us.

Outstanding truck + Outstanding trails +Outstanding people = Outstanding week.
