Been carrying one of these for years....kinda cumbersome at first, but you get used to it. Limited utility, but at least it won't poke through your $90 Kuhl Radikls. AND, if you lose one, they carry them at every Waffle House!

Bout the most useful tool I've ever had for daily use. Used to wear one every day back before all of the "tool rules" on base. Has to be numbered and checked out every day thru a system if I want to carry it every day. I said screw it! Gerber has been very good about warranty too. They have sent me 2 new ones thru the years for warranty purposes with no questions asked.

I use a serrated Cutco for deer. I can go 8-10 deer with it then I send it back for free sharpening.

@wngrog

Nolen pick you up one of these for skinning deer. Uses disposable surgical grade blades. Change the blade every deer, takes 2 seconds. Box of 50 blades is $25. I put on a 70a blade for skinning and a 60a blade for dressing. Knife plus 50 blades of each type is under $100. Can skin 50 deer with surgical sharpness for that money. Dollar per deer in blades after that. Love mine.

....Or, you can drop your deer at the Buck Stop in Pocahontas and they will clean it for $40.00 prior to processing it. At that price, and as long as they are in business, I won't ever clean a deer again (but, then, again, I'm one of those soft guys who posted in the fashion thread).
