Looking for leads on a 70 in Costa Rica.
Thanks for any help.

What's your budget?
Prepare to pay a pretty penny!
They are not cheap in that country the only good thing is that there are good decent trucks driving around!
Most of the time owners are not even interested in selling. Good luck.

My budget is small for CR for now.
I'm lookng for a 70 series to use on my farm and drive around the peninsula for a year or two than id like to upgrade as I plan to spend more time there.
18k USA is a starting price .
Less would be nice but like you say nothing is cheap in C R .

I met someone during my lunch break a few weeks back. He saw me at a gas station with my FJ73 and wanted to talk to me. He just imported a BJ40 for himself from Costa Rica.

He told me he is a lawyer who deals with import/export and was exploring the idea of importing more to sell. I can DM you his contact info if you want. I didn't think to ask if he gets on ih8mud at the time.

Check encuentra24.com try land cruiser, landcruiser, HZJ, 70 in the search.

Also there is a gentleman named Noni in Cartago that deals in 70 Series Land Cruisers, sorry don't have his contact info.
As well as Niels Cruz 4x4 in San Jose, they might have some info on ones for sale
Craigslist too
