Doing the oil change today, and I see this. EVCL? If so I owe @BTUMAN $0.01

Since the dealer had this engine completely apart, I'll be dropping by this week to have a chat.

Valley plate seems likely. Could be a leak from a heater hose T or something else on the back side of the engine, but that definitely looks like coolant residue to me
 
Would a girdle around the perimeter help with clamping?

Just from the pictures, there appears to be sufficient room except where the SAI hoses cross the rear.

Or am I missing something?
 
shape won't allow girdle clamping and even if it did, would be less effective than stock with proper sealant. This is purely from a surface area perspective. If it springs a leak, the girdle may slow it down but surely won't stop it.
