Just sold some FJ6x carpet to a guy who mentioned a place I'd never heard of. I'm betting some of y'all have, but since I've never heard any of you mention it, I thought I'd pass it along.....just in case. He said:

"Burris Valley Ranch, D164.3 Road, Clayton, OK www.bvrok.com There are 3400 acres of private land. 1100 is a working cattle ranch. The rest is having trails built. There is a Lodge, RV hook ups, rooms, pool, etc. The guy that does the offroad stuff gets the place one weekend a month. Our club scheduled this this year and hope to have a much bigger event next year. Don't think you can show up and wheel but maybe on a weekend he has it. Watch Green Country Cruisers for the next year picnic. "
Yeah I hear it makes Clayton look like Hwy 80.

Depends on what trails you venture off on. Nothing makes Lower Slims slope look like Hwy 80
Just going by what our boy Pat said. We'll get over there sooner or later I'm sure. ;-)

My boy Pat winched out the side of Slims Slope in the rare moment of defeat.

My point is that if you think you got Clayton whipped theres likely a few spots left.

Understand that. I have no desire to do harder stuff than Clayton I can assure you. If I had a pocket full of cash I might think differently. If I break it hard then it'll sit for a while.

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

This tells me just how far removed the editors of the 4WP off-road adventures magazine are from our world... :frown:

Not surprising, but still kinda a kick in the shin.

Anybody ever wonder how many horses it takes to haul a "literal" ton of ham around town...

GX got put to work today.

@bkcruiser and Intook my kids to Wolf Caves for a few days this weekend for thanksgiving. We had some time to really explore. What a fantastic park. The owners were super friendly, the amenities were nice, and the trails were plentiful and challenging. Every level of trail is available from mild to stupid. Highly recommend the trip.

LSLC is working on a deal with them to open up for us early before Round Up. Stay tuned.

Why the hell would someone take the beautiful stock wheels off that car? We won a lot of money at the local drag strip with a car like that back in the day!
