Massive spacers and tires installed! Lol
So after 3 days and A LOT of swearing, Kermit has new knuckles, new hi-steer arms, new axleshafts and a full rebuild with fresh bearings, etc. It also has a new tie rod. Long story short, because the new arms are made for front full hydro steering applications have a specific measurement and Ackerman angle, and my steering is behind the axle, I hade to install the left knuckle on the right, and right on the left. Which meant also moving the brake brackets and calipers (so they are now in front of the axle). So I do all that, finish everything up and went to set the toe and it was 3" short. I'm like, WTF. Well, the old arms were on backwards because that's how they fit when the steering was moved behind the axle. So 3" too small. Mike Costello recommend a shop near him, and they were there today. So I hauled ass an hour north and they built me a new tie rod (I didn't have the stuff here to do it). Got home, set the toe, fit perfectly. Tomorrow I have to bleed brakes and tighten things up and see how it does.
