I don't know much about this stuff, which is precisely why I have sought their assistance in the past, but it's incredibly frustrating when I get the impression that I know/understand more about their job than they do. I'm out completely as of about 3 years ago. Didn't trust anyone I talked to and honestly feel better about my taking my money to the blackjack table than speculating in an artificially inflated and manipulated stock market. Still have a couple very conservative mutual funds via the state program for my kids college money but that's it.

I don't like Warren Buffett's political views but BRK.B has been way better to me than a mutual fund. It will also put Arden through college.
