Have you tried using Hyperlapse with your iPhone attached to the drone? It would make for some interesting footage.

I'm finally getting with the 21st century and upgrading my DirecTV to HD. This also requires a TV upgrade as mine suck.

We don't have serviceable internet to utilize Smart TV so is there any reason not to buy this TV from Sam's?

50" as large as I can use too

You are gonna get motion blur with the 60hz refresh rate. Sports won't be fun to watch. Also Sanyo will have inferior screens compared to most of the normal players like LG, Samsung, Panasonic, etc.

Lots of folks say you have to go to 240hz for sports, but I have both that and the 120hz at my house and can't tell much difference.

Find you a 120hz Samsung/LG out there, hell even the higher end Vizio's aren't bad now, and you'll be fine. Won't be much more $ than that Sanyo.

All that said, if you were watching non HD before, ANYTHING is gonna look awesome :)

That's an E-series Vizio, which is their Economy model. The screen will be a 2nd/reject from the major players. If you are gonna do a Vizio stay away from the E series.

LG makes the best flat panel out there on the high end. For value though, you can't beat a Samsung. They have the best sub $1000 TV out there and it's not even close.

They all suck. Buy on the cheap and throw the MF in the garbage when it fails or you start to believe it's not worthy of watching football on.

I bought 3 E series Vizios this past year and have no complaints. Of course I still do 90% of my tv watching on a 16 year old tube set.

OMG I never knew there was so much that went into buying a TV that will only last 5 years. LOL

Damn right J to the MF'n T! I still have a heavy ass TV too!

just don't buy the samsung with voice recognition. it might be secretly recording you. read the disclaimer by samsung.

Ninja'll get Ninja'd

Samsung LED as big as you can afford with the least amount of border around the screen
Min 120 refresh

Considering samsung owns the phone and tablet market and I believe they also sell Apple the iphone hardware.

My 3 yr old LED has been reliable as hell.

100% true, mine are about 5 years old. Magnavox, non-HD 720p.....they are old school. Time to upgrade.

Watching one right now. Haven't seen that model but my two LGs are great.

Of course if you order on my recommendation I'm sure they will show up and not work / look crappy :)
