any ideas...what have you done?


I am putting 2 4x4 post 4 feet in the ground for a swing and also 4 4x4 post for a fence. McGraw and Sunbelt and lowes and Hd ALL have 1 man and 2 man auger rentals but they only run 3 feet deep.

I'm trying to work smarter not harder here....esp since I once helped a buddy put 15 post 2 feet in the ground with a post hole digger in 100 degree heat.....I still have flash backs.

have you ever heard of any augers that will dig deeper but aren't trackter mounted?
