I'm co-chairing a Mardi Gras Ball to benefit my kid's school and have been busting ass to make it a good party. If any of y'all are free this Friday it's a great deal. $75 gets you a ticket for two and includes all food and booze. There's going to be a raw and grilled oyster bar, whole hog, jambalaya, red beans, etc., full bar, and six taps of Abita, NOLA, Lucky Town beer (plus some piss light beer for the women). Live music from Southern Komfort Brass Band and then a DJ for the ladies to dance to. Lots of good auction stuff including a gun safe, K2 coolers (think Yeti), beach and hunting trips, tools, art, jewelry, furniture, etc.

It's at the Old Capitol Inn Friday night from 7:00-11:00. Come party.

Some dude over here in Mountain Brook owns an original GT40, and he DRIVES it around occasionally. Some of you may have seen the creeper pic I got of it last year walking the dog. It was a far away pic by the time I got the phone out, but you can tell it's a GT40

I was always amazed by the high end cars in b'ham. When I lived there in early 2ks in the PCA local club there where 4 all metal slant nose true RUF 911s and they would track them...
