I've seen a guy pull a custom trailer built to hold 4 tires. He would drive the Vette to the track, drop the trailer, swap the tires, race all day and then swap back, couple up and drive home. He was like Euclid in the early years of wheeling.

I saw a Mini (Cooper) the other day with a trailer hitch on it. I was like WTF??

I had a hitch put on the Scion tC, not for a trailer but for a hitch bike rack... there was no other place to put on that car... so a small hitch was perfect... maybe this is what they did?
It had a ball hitch, not a receiver. Who knows. It was goofy though.
