Hi all,

I converted my power windows in my FJ62 to manual windows using parts from an FJ60. It worked out fine; however, I noticed that when the windows are completely rolled up, they are able to be pushed inward a bit from outside the vehicle towards the inside and do not fit solidly-- this is along the lower edge of the window running from front to back above the external lower seal. Its significant to an extent that the windows shake when closing the door.

Anyone have tips on how to address this or know what might have gone wrong?

Thank you.

Good to know. I have completed two so far and both have the same issue. (driverside front and driverside rear)
Did you swap to the fj60 interior door panels? Or running your fj62 door panels?

If you salvaged some fj60 panels maybe they are missing the window run at the top of the panel, or the maybe the felt edge has cracked and torn off, it happens.
Just speculating here.
