July 19th Colorado Land Cruisers Club meeting.

This months meeting will be at Bear Creek Park. The meeting starts at 7:00pm. We won't be reserving a pavilion since that cost money so we will looking for an available first come first serve pavilion.

I plan on being at Bear Creek Park at 5:30pm to find the best available pavilion and start working on grilling some food.

I will plan on bringing the FJ60 so you can see what Ultimate Adventure did to the sheet metal.

I won't be there, wife's birthday.

I'm bringing the grill so if everyone brings their own food if they want to eat that works out fine. I plan on being at the park about 5:30pm.

Dammit, I missed another...the TuRD is finally running now too. I had a guy new to the AF base I was sponsoring, so I took him & his wife out to Colorado Mtn Brewery last night. I'll try my best to make the next one.

Off to study, I have my Ham Tech test tomorrow...wish me luck.

Good luck on the test! It will be nice to have another HAM radio operator in the club.

Discussion for the two August trips resulted in a trip date for Argentine Pass of Aug. 6. Tentative date for Redcone/Radical Hill is Aug. 20, pending snow melting by then.

I passed the Tech. They told me I could try General too, so I did and missed that by 7. I guessed on probably all but 3 of those...haha! Now I need to order an antenna for my Yaesu FT2900R

Congrats on getting your ticket! The results post rather quickly on the FCC database. If you are coming to BV you can check out a couple of antennas. A few of us will be using HAM radios this weekend.
