looking Good

Yea, My thoughts exactly, At the meetings we should bring up the ideas, Discuss them on her throughout the month, and make a final decision at the meeting! trying to get 20 people at the meeting to decide if we should use a runner vs a pickup would take about an hour with our group ;)

if you want to put your two cents into the design, get your butt on here and give suggestions!

Great work Rui..

2005 Runner is Sweet, Old, Vs Brand Spanking new! Only Suggestion is to find one of the "trail" Editions, Comes with raised bumpers, Smaller wheels, ect than the limited!

If you guys find some good stock photos, with the same angle on the vehicle, I can probably get it in there, Id like to keep it generic as not to identify peoples personal vehicles...

Beautiful work Rui!

I would be surprised if we had a 2010 4Runner in the club in the next five years. A second gen 4Runner seems to fit the mix of the club better.

I think we are down to deciding what goes with the FJ40 on the logo as it is now and maybe some color options.

Tacoma...

Ok, I think I've done my bit...lets see something from you lurkers...;p I think I need a .

I like the Taco as well. This logo seems to show roots with the FJ40 and the Future with the Taco.

Lots of Blue in the logo as it is now. Some green would be nice.

Agree on the colors - I think the right truck should be something other then blue or gray

I think the color of the 40 is too light, it kinda blends in with the surroundings and doesn't show off that infamous bezel an white roof well enough. I like the darker tan factory color.

For the other rig, I really, really love the new 2010 4runner, and want one in my driveway in a bad way.........but it just doesn't go with our logo. I like the 60 the best, but want something other than a Land Cruiser to show that all Toyotas are welcome, so I guess my vote is on the Tacoma. I say leave it blue and change the background to more of a greenish color.

:clap::bounce::bounce2::beer:Cut and Print

Are you sure?
Sure nobody out there wants a unicorn in the background and some trail trolls or a limited edition toyota 4x4 vehcile in the the limited edition color they produced in March under a full moon? :frown::crybaby::flipoff2:

I'm taking my crayons and going home

How does it look with the 40 in Red instead of tan?
And the date at the bottom is a little hard to read. Maybe invert the curve, or move back to the top?
Can you make the license plates green and white like CO plates or is that too busy?
Other than that I love it! It's a lot like what I was imagining in my headv but couldn't work it out on paper.

Ok,
I will take your suggestions and try to get something finalized, BUT, not until this weekend.

I got 2.5 hrs of sleep tonight, I was grading cadet's mid-terms until 2:30 AM :crybaby:.

Should have some time this weekend and refine the LOGO a bit more...hopefully I can get to the meeting with a final product...

Colorado LANDCRUISERS logo...

IMHO

"If it doesn't say LANDCRUISER on the name plate..."

It doesn't belong. Lets see, FJ40, FJ45, FJ55, FJ60, FJ62, 80's and 100's all have Landcruiser in their name. And I may have left out a few.

IMHO

I would tend to agree with Darryl. The roots of the club are Landcruiser but open to other types of Toyota vehicles. And before anyone gives me crap about my pimped LC don't bother :grinpimp: Not that it matters but I was in a Shelby Mustang Club back in CA that was open to all Ford and Ford powered vehicles. They would never have put a Tiger, GT40 nor Cobra (other members cars) on their logo, as cool as all those cars are.:steer: Few members actually owned an original 60's era Shelby. my 2 cents:cheers:

I have to respectfully disagree. This is a TLCA club which accepts all Toyota vehicles. Since they haven't made a Landcruiser capable of hardcore wheeling since 1998, we are going to have to figure out a way to keep up with the changing times. It seems like every time I stop and talk to a guy in a parking lot who has Some sort of Toyota I get the same response: "oh, I thought that club was on only for Landcruisers" I think that first and foremost this is a Landcruiser club, don't get me wrong, But I feel there needs to be a stronger identifier that we also accept all Toyota vehicles. Maybe make the FJ40 bigger and a smaller Tacoma or something.
