Forget the moutains and the vehicle outlines--to represent a real landcruiser how about a vac line schematic of a mid-80's 2f with all the smog control and altitude compensation--BTW this is supposed to help if you keep your stock carb and want to de-smog

Dude, that FJ40 Logo is So Stolen.. I know because i stold it too
but i made some Mods to it
(Lowered it, removed the top, Removed the Body lift, changed the tires to Swappers, Widened the Axles, added the Wiper Motor Box, Changed the Bumper, and Changed the Mirrors.

Yes, I can convert members rigs, if thats what the club decides...the template is done and can be modified with other vehicles if we decide.

I don't think I have a lens wide enough to get Lukes rig in frame

The FJ40 bezel is square because it's a 1982 model, just like mine...

I will try to put other vehicles in as to have some more choice, then we can decide what we are looking for in the meeting, I would like to give some options to the club and have the majority in agreement of what they want. No sense in being a club if we can't voice our opinions and vote for it, putting our input in this forum will speed up that decision I hope...

If we want Luke's 4runner I need a good quality pic of his rig at the same angle as the FJC in the logo, with some contrast in the background...like snow or something easy to distinguish between the rig and the rest of pic.;p

let's see a square bezel FJ40, sez "TOYOTA" on the left, and then on the right a bright yellow FJC, that sez "ATOYOT". Gotta teach that image flipper about spelling - now there's a goal for some budding computer science geek!

Maybe need to consider staying with the roots of TLCA, and using just a classic cruiser, a generic FJ40. Anything else will just get bogged down with everyone wanting their particular ride represented. IMHO!

mine kinda looks like I did it with Crayolas too, but with a straight edge....

You know, we don't have to only have one logo...we can have 4 and change them quarterly a year... each one with different vehicles on them...how about that

Well, I was trying to enforce the initial "5 colors or less" direction rigorously, so that accounts for alot of the crayola look. Looks like you hit posterize with about 16 colors maybe? Anyway, still alot better then anything I did, excuses or not!

I checked some sticker companies and they allow for 21 or 32 colors, for a bit more money, I think it is worth it, plus for the web page we should be ok with more colors so it looks "pretty" so to speak. Need to work on the black and white thing...that's not going to be easy.
