What's the take on hiring Ellis Johnson at Southern Miss? On paper he appears to be solid.
 
I liked Ellis Johnson when he was at State but good assistants with no head coaching experience always carry a ? until they prove they can hire a staff. His wife is half his age and hot so he can obviously sell.

Ellis just hired one of my buddies to coach special teams and tight ends. Name's Joey Judge and is coaching under Saban and was a grad assistant under Sherrill. He was a backup QB at State and a great guy.

He comes to Hattiesburg the day after the National Championship game.
 
Was happy state won, but....not impressive at all.

Bowl games today?

GA totally blew it. I stopped watching at 1/2 and they were ruling. Second 1/2 they fell asleep for sure.

The Rose Bowl was really good. LSU time management at the end though.....wow. What a huge mistake.

Fiesta is a good game so far.
 
He meant LSU style clock management. It was a poor attempt at a 2009 joke.

Awesome game. I feel sorry for the freshman Stanford kicker. Two last minute chokes on chip shot field goals, game lost. News reports say he was seen sitting alone at his locker long after the game ended, crying.
 
I hope VA Tech keeps this up. My experience with Michigan fans left me sour. They were like school on a Saturday. No class.

I spent a week on the Stanford campus last Summer. This pretty well describes most of their coeds.
