Only if I had a Tucker, as there would be way too much snow there. Only went up to the top of Baldy Mnt near Pinceton with Gold Boy (Simon in his 74. Its considerably lower than Placer and Ashenola. .:frown:

Details, details....you're the only one who actually reads this stuff.

Re: Next meeting Feb 14: "I missed that one. Bill, you're kidding right? I can just imagine how SWMBO will take me heading out to a CC meeting than night"

Well John, the moment of truth has arrived and this was a test: WHEELING OR WIVES, that is the question. To be a true wheeler you must go meetings and wheeling - with or without the wife!

Thanks for writing up the meeting minutes Bill .

First, we discussed the Christmas Party last month. Most agreed that it was a good time and the same location next year would be OK. Others suggested looking into the Sheridan Gillford so Sopal is going to look into that one to see if it looks at all suitable. We are still open to other location suggestions, speak to Gary T, Bill or Steve T.

I have a comment about this. While the Elephant and Castle works well for what it offers (the mezzanine and of course Heidi), the location is in no way central to club members. In fact, the only place you could push it further west is if it was on the Island :flipoff2:.
I know, suck it up, didn't have to move to the 'wack :crybaby:. But seriously, the 250km round trip for dinner kind of put me off. Hopefully the Guilford location will be promising.

The Christmas Party is the one meeting a year that doesn't take me more than an hour to get to. Last meeting at EBI... 1hr 40minutes from Ladner. There is no fast way to Port Moody from here.

Vanny,

I have a solution for you. Move to Fort St. John. Join the Swamp Donkeys. It'll take you a max of 5minutes to get to the meeting. :p
