Price drop- prefer it stays in mud community

Selling my factory triple locked 1994 Land Cruiser that has always been in Colorado. 236800 miles on Odom. It has a salvage title as it was stolen once, insurance paid claim, then was recovered. Selling this green beast as I am picking up one with newer motor and more farkle. My beast I have had for a decade and it’s done some good trails around region. Was planning on keeping but...located a LS1 motor swapped rig all built.

Good:

Drive it home. We just spent 4 days in Shirley Mountains of WY watching eclipse

  • passes emissions (last one was April 2017)
-fresh front differential stock gearing replaced in 2017

-transmission was flushed and new filter when dif gears replaced

-fresh front birfs 2017 from Cruiser outfitters in Utah

-5 tires with very few miles - 285x16 Goodyear’s wranglers

2 pair (4) heavy snow chains (my next truck has bigger tires so need bigger chains)

-in 2016 rebuilt steering pump

-in 2017 new HP power steering lines

-recent misc hoses and belts replaced

  • new OEM air intake 2016
  • Larger new starter in 2017
  • New fuel filter 2017
  • That PIA engine to heater core hose i did in 2006
-all lockers engage and work

  • shifts nicely
  • 2” ball hitch and 5 pin light hookup (Works) for trailer lights
-still strong- just spent 4 days wheeling in Shirley Mts. Wy

AC is cold

Heater is hot

Bad

-needs paint

  • front bumper
-needs seat covers on front seats

-could use suspension update - still original

-windows all work but needs tlc

-radio is flaky - loose speaker wires somewhere

  • abs sensor wire broken, never got around to fixing that, ice chunk mushed the wire on left

It’s a strong truck to start a crawler with or someone’s expedition project. Has hitch. Will include the full size tire chains. Third row seats. I don’t have a garage big enough to do the big work so it’s more reasonable for me to replace with 80 that’s been built. I love these trucks. It’s incredible where you can go with solid axles locked and on 30” tires

Asking $3000 for the mud price - would love it to go to someone in Colorado we we can wheel on some trips together. And make PO jokes.

Loveland Colorado.

Mileage is 236,844
The 5 Goodyear Wranglers have only couple thousand miles on them

May be interested, once I can see what you've got. Any pics of rust areas and such would be great, and don't think I saw mileage.
Rust areas are minimal small rock pings etc. typically have touched up when find them. There are a few just noticed when did a walk around. Again none are east coast deep.

Price drop, want it to go to a good home where it will get wheeled.

Mud price $3,500

Will post on Craigs list this weekend for $4,500.

This truck will and can be driven home where ever you are in USA. Located in Colorado. It’s value is the OEM eLockers that work great, the new birfs on front, new dif, tranny service/flush and set of 5 - 285 x16 Goodyear wrangler with only a couple of trips on them.

This truck has lived only in Colorado. It does have a salvage title. My understanding was hood was replaced - it has served me well as a daily driver for a decade then 5 years as weekend adventure truck only. Here’s the vin-

VIN: JT3DJ81W5R0047994

Year: 1994

Make: Toyota

Model: Land Cruiser

Style/Body: SUV / Wagon 4D

Class: SUV - Premium Large

Engine: 4.5L I6 SFI

Country of Assembly: Japan

Vehicle Age: 23

Need to make room so next week when I drive the replacement truck home it has place to park. Would love to see this rig stay in the MUD family. Key thing is this truck passes emissions for front range (at least it did last April) today I will be cleaning it up and prepping to post to Craigs list.

I'm surprised this hasn't sold.... ??

My feedback is that the truck appears to have some rust issues but not very many pics of the undercarriage. Would probably help to have more pics so that others can determine just how bad it is.

Will do- it’s a Colorado truck so the spots are from wheeling that need small attention- but will get as soon as I can as won’t have much time until Monday

I'm not in Colorado, but I am interested. Could you post pictures of the interior.

What specific would you like to see? Front seats need new leather or cover- they are electric and work. Headliner good. Back seat and third row good.missing a head rest from third row and one seat belt. Radio is ancient and needs speakers re-wired. Back cargo area I pulled carpet out. No cracks on dash. Windows work but need ongoing age related love. Door locks work. From driver control I can’t ipen close front passenger window but passenger can.
