Clutch line flex hose

I’m new to my own maintenance so I’m trying to figure things out on my own. Currently replacing my master and slave cylinder and putting in a new flex hose.

For the flex hose I’ve loosened the nut connecting it to the hard line but can see to get this part out. Any help? Thank you!

You need to get that black clip off before you can remove the hose. You can use a pair of curved needle nose to get it out some more and then you can twist a screwdriver between the top of the line and the clip and it should come right off.
