Clutch adjustment issues

I just put a new clutch in my 94 pickup. Problem is the pedal is about 2" off the floor. I tried useing the adjustment rod on the back of the pedal but it is at the last thread. Any advice?

Im not sure, but I have heard there is a way to bleed it, I also recently put a clutch in my 86 so any help would be great

on my truck there is a spring that attaches to the pin and under the dash. did you reinstall this spring.

Is the clutch functioning? Did you do anything besides remove the slave cylinder from the bell housing, change the clutch and put the slave back?

I replaced the engine. While it was out I figured it was a good time to replace the clutch, it works fine just very little pedal.

Oh yeah what i meant about being 2" off the floor is that is where the clutch engages...... Maybe this will help you help me.

How much "freeplay" is there at the top of the pedal stroke? There should be about 1/2" or so.

Engaging 2 inches off the floor sounds good to me? Are you saying you'd like it to engage closer to the floor or farther away from it?

A little higher would be better. i just dont knw of anyway except the adjustment rod

That rod is the only adjustment to the whole system. So it's your only option if you aren't happy with it.
