Shocks....

For sale or trade or ??? I have a set of shocks if someone could use them. Supposedly for a stock FJ62 but I never checked and right now I don't need them anyhow. If you can use them let me know. They're Gabriel. I have (2) #82611 (2) #81318 . Jesse, maybe they'll fit your '59 ? Anyhow they are brand new in the boxes, Chris.

FJ62 ??

Russ, any chance I could use that on my '62? (3FE) Or are they alot different? While we're on the air filter "thing", what are your opinions- stock paper filter set up better or is K&N a better way to go? I like the idea of no more filter purchases.

Sorry mate, carb vs. EFI. They are totally different.
On the second, I had a K&N in my 93 at first. I talked to my LC guru, Mudrack (Mudracks Custom Cruisers, Sonoma), and he said he wouldn't (would not) because he felt some of the filter oil could contaminate the MAF sensor. I took it out and use WIX or OEM now. JMTC FWIW.

Well, that's worth knowing. Never thought about the oil screwing with the sensors. Guess I'll invest in a compressor and stick with paper filters and keep them blown out the best I can. Thanks!

this is a common known occurrence using oiled filters with the hot wire MAFs. this is the reason i used the aMsoil
