I have two early 70's FJ40 rear axles and two FJ40 front axles (all drums) for free if anyone wants them. Also have a 72 FJ55 rear axle (not sure if its the same as the 40's). Any takers...otherwise they are all going in for scrap metal.

I'm on the lookout for some 40" LTB's. I've heard those Michelins are rock solid and do very poorly offroad.

i am looking to trade the SXs for some MTRs

The MTR's are probably 80% but I want to keep them as street tires. I want some LTB's for the snow and mud during the winter. Why don't you like the SX's? I had some 36" SX's a while ago and they were pretty decent. My best tires ever are still my skinny 38" Boggers...just not tall enough anymore, my rear pumpkin is roughly the size of Jupiter which hampers ground clearance.

theyre a hair too big, dare i say.

that and the whole out of round thing has a tendency to suck power wildly.

now that i have the HP, i need a tire that can actually drive somewhere without needing my kidney belt.
