Anybody still go to the cliffs much? I just figured out that it's about 15 mins from my house. I haven't taken out my grocery mobile yet, and it's high time I broke something on it besides the antennae...

is it brutal or what? I'm not from here originally, else I would have some reliable contacts in the local redneck coteries..

I'm getting my exhaust fixed tomorrow so that I will stop getting light headed at traffic lights..

should I even bother going anywhere until I get some new suspension? as far as I know it's got the original shocks with 92k and 16 years.

If anyone wants to come out, I can wine and dine you at the Circle K/Burger King! All slushies (any size) are only $.89!!!

Yeah....its brutal! Don't get me wrong the staff there has made some real progress toward reigning the park in. But it is still by far the most "brutal" park I've ever been to (unless you stick to the beginner trails).

If you wait for your suspension, then you will have to wait for your bumper, then why go out with out a winch.... Just wheel the s*** out of it at every stage....including s***ty ass whooped out stock.

As much I would like to go see Tom, no, sorry....Ive spent the last few years trying to nurse my truck back to some kind of decent shape, after having spent years wheeling the cliffs over a dozen times a year.

Take pics.

Oh and that is the easy trail that I managed to save the truck by crashing into the trees while flying down a hill sideways. I managed to mangle interior panels that day...

The cliffs rocks?
But there are no rocks there...really

I agree wit John, wheel it at each stage of the build...that way you know what to build next

If you wait till its ready, it will never be wheeled

I destroyed my 80 at the cliffs.

I'm really glad I didn't end up building my 55 for the Cliffs since I never go there anymore.

I would say build something just for there. A mini with dual cases and 35-38" boggers. Or a Sammi with boggers. Then you don't have to spend more time cleaning it than wheeling it.

He saved it without spilling any captian too

That is true....Sorry for putting a tree through the door that night....I know the 4runners are already a little cramped.

That is very admirable! You have to take a stand somewhere.

Just started watching trailer park boys. It's like the end of season 2 when they flip their truck and the airstream and Julian gets out of he truck with a full rum and coke..

Gottsta protect the captain

Well sure....I mean I knew, when I stabbed the gas to launch my self into the trees to stop, that I couldn't stop the fact that I would be losing both doors and the glass, and that passengers would be "dukes of hazarding it" for the rest of the weekend....

But I also knew that Captain would fix it. So I hugged him like a child....like a child that "could" make me smile later that night. See, and I'm not sure everyone knows this but, if you're sad, you can just drink lots of alcohol and it makes you happy. I'm kind of surprised people haven't realized this yet. It seems like a win/win situation so far.

I have gotten more body damage at the cliffs than any one single place ive wheeled (harlan is 2nd but thats because i flopped, followed by some honey badger style wheeling). I have wheeled the cliffs for probibly 8hrs total in my life and have a tore up pax side of my truck to show for it, and an extraction by a jeep after my winch took a s*** on me there! I dont know which is worse! Do like gumby says, get a beater and wheele the piss out of it there, dont take anything nice. The place is either way too hard or way too easy, no middle. Saying all this i do want to ride shotty in a beater trail rig and see the whole park!

I must concur that I have acquired some sort of body damage every time I have wheeled there....from mild to "Oh, s***! That's fxxxed up"!!!

I have gotten more body damage in one day at the cliffs than all the days at every other park put together.

It is an evil, ugly park. Its dark and your always deep in some trench with mud and insects you"ve never seen before. And there are jeep parts and window glass EVERYWHERE and paint on most every tree. In fact for years, that is what I loved about the place! It [STRIKE]was[/STRIKE] is such a nasty place.

This is a typical cliffs rig, that you will see roaming around the trails.
