Today I will be adding everyone's e-mail to the CLC E-mail Event Notification list. I will be using the e-mail address that we have on the club roster. Once I have added your e-mail address an e-mail will be sent requiring you to click a link to confirm your e-mail address and that you want to be added.
It will show up as From: mailing list manager and will have a subject line that says:
Request for confirmation of subscription to the mailing list [events@cottonlandcruisers.com]
You'll find a funky link to some german website that you have to click on and it will confirm that you are added.
If you do not get an e-mail today (2/21) and you want to be added, send me a message here on MUD or send me an e-mail to secretary@cottonlandcruisers.com with the e-mail address that you want added. You may have to check your spam folder and I wouldn't be surprised if certain corporate/work e-mail systems block the message.
You will not get spammed by this e-mail list, only a single account can send e-mails to the mail distribution and it will only be used for event/meeting notification purposes.
There's supposedly a way that we can add a registration link on the CLC website, I'll work with JT on that and that way anyone that wants to be added in the future can do it themselves (because I'm lazy).
