A jeep friend called me about this one yesterday. I was going to try to look at it tomorrow but you beat me to it. That thing would be a great candidate for a chop and a cage, lift, big meats and wheel the bejesus out of it.

What's nuts is how plausible this has become due to our size. We are either at 50 or 49 members. If every pitched in 30 bucks this car could be ours. I'm really noticing how big our club is when I go to other clubs pages on here.
If only! I would love to wheel a 60 or an 80 now and then but with 4 vehicles in the driveway plus 2 trailers at Mike's lot I think I am done. I know if I came home with another rig I would need to be prepared to sleep in it for a few days......at least a few days.

Sorry, but the last thing this club will be buying right now is a rig. We don't need that kind of insurance exposure. It's a great idea in theory though.

Just raising my three boys and working alot. Trying to get my FJ 40 together. I had the cylinders sleeved and I was supposed to get it back today but I don't think it's gonna get done today. I'm ready to do a 3 gun competition. Call me when you go to the next one.

Yeah the insurance and liability would be a bitch. Sorry about that. I started thinking about it and my mind just got out of control with all of the possibilities! This is how I get in trouble with buying things!;p
There's a good chance I will call you to go on one of these weekends. When I sold the FJC in Baton Rouge, I headed straight over to Jim's firearms just to look and ended up walking out with a Springfield XDM 5.25 competition 9mm.
