I called Carlos about this 96, he wants $3,500. I'm going tomorrow to go take it for a test ride and see what's up. Was anyone else interested in this?

It just might be. Especially if I can get him down to 3K. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Things to look for and such?

We'll see. It's more for Daniel than me. My co-worker is now offering his old truck to me for 600 bucks. hmm, what to do??

If it runs and is dependable get that one for Daniel since he is not an experienced driver yet :) Then if he crashes it you've only lost 600 bucks :D my .02
 
I would say check in 8o tech for things to look for, known problems etc. They had a lot of information in the 3rd gen 4runner/truck tech section when I was looking. From what I saw it looked like it was going to need a good bit of maintenance type stuff, leaks etc. it was by no means in excellent shape from what I saw but the body and frame at least looked pretty solid. BTW, don't forget your gun when you go in that neighborhood!

WE passed on it. It was in REALLY rough shape. Daniel needs something a little more workable. CArols said someone from Mandeville was coming to look at it for a trail rig. Wonder who that was.
 
Yeah it did look pretty rough. More of a trail rig than a DD. Did you see the one on Craigslist. That one looked like it would be nice. A bit more pricey though.

It's a bit to much for him. He's telling me he wants to get an Integra like we use to have.
 
I'm thinking Ground effects, neon paint job, spinners.....

We do live in NOLA, you know.
 
yeah, we'll be having none of that now. A simple white Integra. Or maybe an RSX.
