The future of THE podcast is up in the air. I am trying to find a new way to record that was was still as easy to use as it originally was but everything is either video, paid subscription, or I would have to have my guests down load a new app just to join the interview.😡🤬

Low tech: chat over facetime/skype etc (with headphones), and record audio separately at each end with voice memo app on phones

This would allow you to import each file as a channel and adjust levels independently etc, but relies on your guests being tech savvy enough to be trusted to record, which may be an issue with some "original owners" ;)

How have you been recording previously?

In person settings are always better podcasts to listen to but I know that’s not super feasible.

Sadly I have not listened to any of your podcasts 😦 . I definitely plan to on my next road trip.

I don’t know the last time I listened to a podcast in general. Or even searched a new station on Spotify. I rarely have that much time to myself where I can.

I have been using Spotify for podcasters which allows me to record remotely, record, and edit all in one place.

I just have to figure something else out but I might have to find a way to pay for a different app.

I was able to get an episode recorded and you might recognize this guest by the Land Cruiser.

New ep is live :)

Just a heads up - something isn't right with the audio in the intro, but then the interview seems fine
I am still trying to figure out the new software/app and getting it back to the level of " professional production" that you guys have come to know and love 😜 .

So here is the link to this week's episode featuring Ryan Apple to talk about how a freeborn red Fj40 molded his life into an absolute Land Cruiser die hard. And yes that picture is one of his 6 Land Cruisers.

This week's episode is out now. I speak with Glen Hachenberg about having good things happen to him and good things happening to others through him, SAS and how tornado alley isn't as flat as you would think.

@Chungas Revenge you will have to answer the question that we were talking about you and mule 2.0 on this week's episode, about the paint code and if it is a factory color.

Absolutely a factory paint code….For Ferrari.🙄 Chosen quite by accident sorta.

We started with a factory color, Buffalo Brown and kept spraying sample sheets until it worked.
I’m positive the guys at the garage thought I was 🦇 💩 🤪 for suggesting the color. Rightly so I guess but, as we slid down the paint code menagerie, this particular flavor of brown hit all of the go buttons. Truth be told, I think the guys in the booth were nonbelievers until that 1st coat of clear.

This week @cruiserboy14 joins me at the " recording studio" as we talk about his conversation from J@#p to Land Cruisers.

So I break from normal and I speak with Steve Duncan about how is Land Cruiser has taken him all over the world.

This week was a guest that I have been looking forward to since I started THE podcast I speak with Aaron and Eryeka Trice the owners of Overhauled Fj. The Fj40 that was overhauled on the TV show "Overhaulin".

I wonder what season and episode number that was on?

On this week's episode Breck the bowtie farmer from Instagram tells me how his '71 Fj40 has become a tool on the farm and a vessel to adventure.

I am trying to go across the pacific again and get one of the organizers for long drive for draught to come on. Yes I know that they started yesterday and might not have good reception or data signal. But if I can't make it work is there someone willing to come on in the interim.
