I mentioned in another thread how I was pretty much done with cars & coffee type events, but I have to say when a few of us went to this event last year we were impressed. We chatted then about how different it was compared to others and how nice it would be to have an ONSC showing next time.

This is where Stephen @fj40z works and he knows this gig way better than I, so I'm just going to post the flyer and let him take the wheel.

Edit: Here is the thread from last year. I had forgotten they gave everyone $10 gas cards just for showing up!

Triad peeps- Big car show at my work this Saturday 10-1 free food and kid activities

I had this show on my mind not long ago. I'm in, always like to look at cars of all types.

Yeah it would be great to see a bunch of Cruisers come out this year. It really is a great car show. I'm not 100% certain but I think it may be the biggest car show in the triad now. Everything is free including food. They do advertise it as a classic car show but no one that wanted to enter would be turned away.

That's the saturday before GSMTR. Would be a good trip to make to test things out. Will try to make it.

Definitely a good show with a nice mix of classics. A big step up from the cars and coffee crowd. Was fun last year. I still have that $10 gas card somewhere :)

Will get the 40 shined up and go.

I had never heard of the gas station that card was for and months later spotted one on Lawndale out of the corner of my eye. There may have been some WTF remarks from drivers that witnessed my left turn from the far right lane.

Update- this is this weekend. Weather is looking suspect at best but as of right now but it's still going on as planned. I will post up if anything changes but if you can make it it's a great car show, one of if not the biggest in the triad. Last year there was well over 200 cars. Everything is free including food, drinks and snacks.

I am planning on it and hope for decent weather. The forecast now shows showers but maybe they will hold off until after it is over.

Car show has been cancelled due to forecasted rain for the day.

Yeah, I have mixed emotions. I would love to just attend it but I get the dubious task of directing parking of all the cars. 200 plus cars gets crazy, then all the groups showing up trying to hold spots for other cars in their group that haven't showed up yet. Keeps me hopping all day long so I'm not that bummed, but I'm lazy like that.
