I purchased a new set of front doors for my 77 40 and the channels for the window glass are too narrow to fit the rubber seals into. I've tried two different types and it's just too small
Anyone else have new city Racer doors?

Did you reach out to City Racer? He has always been very responsive to emails when I sent in questions.

Those are the topnault doors. We had the same issues on a set here and had to cut the entire channel wider with a grinder. very frusturating, especially since the door was aready painted.

I was afraid of that. He said that he didn't expect to get any more doors. What type of grinder did you use? Looks like a bitch.
Thank you

I'm not sure, one of my guys took care of it and did a pretty nice job saving the day. Probably combination of 4.5" grinder and maybe air saw and hand file.

Do you know if he just had to do the corners?

City Racer will stand by their stuff, BUT they do not know how to use a phone so all of your dealings will be over numerous emails...... slightly frustrating. I could have solved my issue with them in a 5 minute call. But it took half a day and innumerable emails to solve and then resolve the confusion from the numerous emails.
