Wow, beautiful pictures from a beautiful place. You guys are indeed blessed to have ventured through there. Wish I could have gone.

Ryan was the fellow that was bottle feeding the fawn and guided the CC members to a mountain top overnight camp out, correct?

I remember he had a serious accident a while after the 2009 trip. Has anyone kept in touch with him?

Please excuse my ignorance if he's no longer with us.

I just managed to get in touch with him again, lost the contact info for a while. He's still around, not sure how he is doing yet but apparently he's moved even further north. Will get a few more details soon.

I really have to follow through this route next year. Sure looked like a great trip. Curious, did Ryan live down here
before? You could tell him to look for a green 60 wagon late Sept, I'll be coming through. I'll have to make that
a planned stop.

No, we met Ryan up there. He owned a bunch of property up by Chilco lake. Was trying to build a lodge. Nice to see he managed to make that dream come true.
That should be a great trip. Hope you post that one up.

That is an incredible view looking out the front of the wagon Mat, been too long since I have seen something even close to that from a Cruiser.

Good to hear that Ryan seems to be doing well. From the '09 trip report it was cool to read how you guys met him mostly by chance if I remember, and that led to the Perkin's peak tour.

Looks like Ryan's is managing the Mount Logan Lodge near Kluane where Mt Logan's is located - 2 hours west of Whitehorse. Stunnung scenery up there...
Maybe next summer we should swing by?

Just finished talking to Ryan, he is doing well and his recovery was successful. He's up at the lodge but will be moving back to his property likely before the end of the year. It is still his (all 150ac of it). The nature conservancy has always been involved in that area, guess they got a couple bucks for signage and posted it up. He would love for us to come up again, maybe next year. Do a trip from there to Vanderhoof, through the MacKenzie and up. He's got 3 BJ60's now. It sounds like he hasn't lost his great nature and happy personality in the least bit. We'll keep in touch and see about making that trip up there.
