Man, all the cool stuff is overseas!

Kind of neat! Looks like it's Toyota's version of the M715, which was adapted from the original Jeep Cherokee to replace the M37. The M715 was despised. It was replaced by the M770, another dog, which was replaced by the CUCV. Little history? :cheers:Ned

been thinkin of makin a fold down windsheild like that for mine :hmm:

ouch, my eyes.

if it had a heavy weapon in the back it might make sense, but as is?? not my flavor...

Hmmm, I actually like that. Would be a good way to convert a rusty 60 into a trail-runner/utility truck, if'n a guy had a rusty 60.
I bet it would look good with a chainsaw and a load of firewood in the back.

...good way to convert a rusty 60 into a trail-runner/utility truck....

that was the one redeeming feature I found in it.

maybe D'animal can make one as a chainsaw demo/repair mobile

These are normally Japanese military versions. Maybe it was on a US base in Japan
