check engine light issue

Actually, I'm sure it's been covered before, I just can't seem to find the right search keyword combo
I replaced my valve cover and plenum gaskets On my 1991 toy 4x4 3VZE 3.0 and i put everything in its right place and it sounds good but now the engine light is now on, i've rechecked everything, i've run out of ideas and don't know what to look for anyone had this problum ?

Did you check to see what code is stored in the ECU? That should tell you where the problem is.

You don't need to take it anywhere, you just need a paperclip. See the link above. There is a diagnosis box right behind the battery under the hood.
