^also if you ever get the itch to upgrade to HID headlamp assemblies BostonMangler and I have both done that successfully on our 08s but it’s definitely not a cheap mod. I’m curious to know how much you’ve spent on your “cheap” build haha.

Your lights look great
However all the harness issues you two have had does not give me confidence
wheels/tires/suspension. + lots of petrol
I should probably update the thread but all issues disappear once the DRL’s are turned off. I had to do it using tech stream but after the 08 model years I think you can turn them off from the center console which @Boston Mangler did.
I hated the high beam halogen DRL’w anyways. Now I get the accent lights only when I have the headlight in DRL mode. It’s awesome. I want your Middle East spec grill but they are really expensive from eBay.

Had to chase mine for a few weeks
not bad for first time at 298k miles I suppose
there's some way you can smoke test the evap stuff. I don't know how, but that would've been belching smoke for sure. Not bad at all for 298k. That's a solid run for most anything imo.

Pull your engine cover off. It’s very close to the oil cap towards the middle/driver side.
