I saw that video about the head gasket claim. At least on the 1UR-FE and my observation of failure reports the last 8 years in lots of online sources.. a very few here and there but by no means a common problem on that failure point

Perhaps more so on the 3UR-FE?
 
Hope so. Nursing a valley leak.
 
It was changed when I did my radiator in September
 
I used to be a pretty devout follower of TCCN. Now I just consider him something of a drama queen. As a fellow automotive technician, I don't mean to be insulting. I have a great deal of respect for the man, and absolutely he knows his sh*t when it comes to Lexus/Toyota products. But sometimes he can over-emphasize mundane points as if they're life or death decisions (the metal oil filter housings are a great example). Not to mention his videos could be half as long if he wasn't so repetitive. I do use him as a point of reference, but I don't hang on every word he says any more.
 
I stopped following him on YouTube.

Yep, finally got my valley plate fixed, had timing cover done too, it was an oil leak, though.
