Center diff mount?

Question about the attached picture. It is looking from the passenger side, looking towards front of car. That hard rubber mount (at least I think it's a mount) front and center is not directly touching the bolt or the top part above it. It looks like it may be a mount for the center diff and it doesn't seem normal. Just looking for some feedback.

It is a vibration/noise dampener. Pretty worthless/ineffective. Many of us have removed them. Makes more room for over the frame exhaust setups, and gives you about 5 mpg and 10 mph top end. :rofl:

its all about that weight reduction, these trucks hate excessive weight :hillbilly:
