I need some 2 or 3 degree castor correction shims for my 60 series anybody know a good place to go for steel ones? Looks like most places sell aluminum shims. I would rather not use aluminum because I'm told they will oxidize and crumble eventually.

Considering using these guys unless there is a closer/better source

I've never had an issue with aluminum. I guess over time they might disintegrate, but the springs don't last as long as
the shims, so easy to replace with new springs.

I believe Westshore quoted me a price for steel wedges.

Search is a great feature on 'mud...

4Crawler Offroad Products - Custom Leaf Spring Shims

Also valley hybrid has steel shims in various degrees.

That being said, I've never bought shims from either.

As for aluminium ones eventually crumbling into nothing. I've had 2 pairs of alloy Rancho 2.5 degree sitting in my toolbox for more than a decade... still look brand new. Blister packs are getting a little dog eared... lol

Picked up some 2 1/2 degree steel castor correction shims from west shore spring and 4x4 for 50 bucks
