Carpet Replacement on 96 LX450

Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations on a carpet replacement for my truck. Has anyone successfully used a carpet kit made for a 1991–1997 Land Cruiser in a 1996 LX450?
I’ve checked a few websites that say the Land Cruiser kits won’t fit the LX450, but I remember seeing posts where people made them work. If you’ve done this or have specific product suggestions or links, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

The LX450 and 80 series bodies are the same. Other than the color, the carpet will fit perfectly. FWIW, the OEM carpet is still available. I wouldn't buy aftermarket carpet unless it was going to be a trail rig, and then I probably wouldn't put carpet in it.

My carpet looked very nasty. I pulled it all out, put it on a tarp in the driveway and cleaned it. Toyota carpet is very very good in my opinion. Mine looks new now. Also fits perfect.

Im thinking of buying the thinnest aftermarket carpet i can get. Hoping it would leave more room for heat and sound barriers underneath. Plus with the weathertech mats you barely see the carpet.

It's real grimy. Think the cleaner will work? All the seats are out now, and I want to fix carpet 1st then move on to seats.

Pull the carpet completely out and use a pressure washer to clean it. Almost any detergent will get the job done. You will be amazed how much dirt will come out and how good the result will be.

If you're pulling the carpet out, then do like @ppc said and use a pressure washer. He's probably right that any detergent will work, but I know Ammo is amazing stuff. Its definitely worth a shot, IMO
