Who has a carburetor linkage all set up correctly and functioning as it should that could shoot a photo of it and post it here? I am about to mount the carb and linkage. It has been a few months since I took it off, and I wasnt familiar with it that much then. I have all of the pieces in a zip lock bag and have an idea how they go. A photo or three would be greatly appreciated. i may powder coat them unless someone thinks that is a bad idea.


there is a grommet that is onthe firewall bracket. who could source that? I read about a grommet source in CA awhile back, but i did not write their name down. Supposedly, they have everything imaginable for firewalls, etc.

I have heard that an fj60 linkage bootie works and I think those are on a shelf at SOR. I am using a cable at this point, my linked throttles are all in baggies right now...sorry
 
...what I'm running. I'd take a pic if I could find my camera.
 
For a grommet/ rubber isolator on the firewall bracket, a piece of rubber or plastic tubing that is friction fit into the bracket, but allows the shaft to spin inside easily, is a possibility. I don't have specifics, is just something grabbed out of the box of misc scrap hoses.

Awesome! Thanks for the help! I will be installing header/intake/ carb tomorrow. I have a long list of todos. next are tailgate rubber, window install, and sealing up rear body mount access hole. Thanks again.
