I probably should have posted this way earlier.....

Went to a lowriders car show this past weekend; Stay Gold 2024, in Langley. It was part of a celebration of life for my nieces husband, a founding member of Los Boulevardos Vancouver chapter. Some pretty cool rides, those hydraulic caddies have more articulation than any of our trucks!

That looks like a great show!!

From our Abbotsford Police Foundation, July 27, 2025 Show details at 7-Oaks Mall, Abbotsford,

Dear Coastal Cruisers 4WD Club,

I hope this email finds you well! My name is Jessica Levesque, and as a former Mini-bar rail dragster driver at Mission Raceway, I had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing car enthusiasts over the years. Today, many years later, I’m excited to serve as the Executive Director of the Abbotsford Police Foundation (APF) and would like to personally invite you and your club to be part of the upcoming AbbyPD Car Meet.

This year’s event will take place on July 27 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre. Rain or shine, we would love to have your club join us for this exciting day. All proceeds raised will go directly to supporting the Abbotsford Police Department's community programming and initiatives. These programs focus on increasing community connections, investing in youth, and strengthening the vital relationships between the police and the community they serve.

I found your contact information through the Harrison's Auto list and wanted to personally reach out to extend this invitation. Please click the link to register a vehicle: 2025 AbbyPD Car Meet | 2025 APF - https://www.abbypf.ca/events/2025-abbypd-car-meet

We truly appreciate your ongoing support of the automotive community, and I hope you’ll consider being part of this important event. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you soon.

Kindest regards,

Jess

link to BC GOV FIRE BANS INFORMATION:

Link to campfire bans. As of Sept 25th fires are allowed in north coast area. Read the link I figured it would
be useful as fall season settles in. Oct 31 is the end date for open camp fire ban as of now but fingers crossed it
rains like it used to and that ends too.
Save the link, putting it here as it is sort of an event certainly effects events.

Hi all, new LC owner here in the Fraser Valley... Just wondering if there are any more car meets planned (or that usually happen) during the winter?
I know our weather sucks this time of year, but after living in Abby for the past 16 years, I kinda learn to live with it... Just curious, thanks!

Welcome! Sometimes, keep checking here; if the weather opens up, we sometimes head out for a smoky run to low elevation destination.

Vancouver Island Car Club - just posted a summer meeting schedule from Facebook. Always cool to head out for ice cream on a weeknight if there is something going on, but never know about stuff. So here is a photo of the list. Maybe get some old Cruisers out there as well as hot rods. So if you are on the Island over the summer.

Fraser Valley Classic Car Show, June 7, Chilliwack. I'll be at this show again. You can see my 40 in the web page pic below! :)

This show is hosted by the British Car Club so there is always a good collection of British cars along with all of the hot rods and interesting builds.

Love that Corolla Peanut! '69 maybe? Also the handicap hanger in the 510 is classic; aren't we all getting older?
