Probably do the north hooch and etowah before summer's over. Got to hit the etowah after a rain or it can be a little low.

Think I hit the E once in 'flood' stage. Hellufa trip ping-pongin through the boulder field before the falls. Got so puckered I left my paddle somewhere mid-drop. Whilst I was cleaning up my yard sale at the bottom my buddy went back up to snag my paddle.

If you get a chance to paddle the Cartecay I highly recommend it, especially on New Year's Day with ice rimming the edges. I think that's the only trip I didn't come outta my boat on.
