Cannot Connect Bluetooth

Hey,

Have done lots of research. I have a 2006. Trying to get phone hooked up. Having issues. Not sure if it's an issue with the phone or an issue with the nav system. Anyone had issues connecting their phone? Any thoughts?

I have an 06 LC that I recently picked up, BT connected as "Hands Free". Is this the problem you're having, not even connecting for calls? Just trying to clarify more information for someone who might be able to help. Looks like you have a bunch on Cruiser's, so it would be safe to assume you know you won't be able to stream music or videos without some aftermarket mods.

Thanks for the response and the questions. I do realize I will need new hardware to stream music, etc. I am just trying to get the phone. I am not getting a "hands free" or any other device being recognized on my phone (iPhone 7). I went into the settings and there does not appear to be any "old" phones connected in the system.

My help on this matter will only be basic, I use an 8+ without problem on mine. Assuming you've turned on BT on your phone, possibly restart your phone or see if another family member with a different phone has it show? Sorry, wish I could be of more help.

I'm not sure if you ever got this figured out, but it seems that only four phones can be stored in the bluetooth system. Mine had all four taken by the previous own, so I had to delete them before I was able to connect my iphone. See this video:
