Can you remove the V8 oil pump without pulling the motor?

Some of the arrows in various pictures. Are pointing to oil pump O-ring weeps/leaks areas. That one is pointing to weep hole area. Those small 10mm socket head bolts, in timing belt plastic cover. I don't know PN #'s for. They don't leak oil. I do know the lower cover securing bolts, are differ length than other covers bolts.

Look at diagram I just posted for you above. Look for "NO. 1 Timing belt idler sub-assembly" That is held by a 10mm allen head bolt. Also note the "star" notation (precoated part). That bolts' threads, need sealing or it will leak. I use Toyota FIPG oil 103.

gotcha. I will search the bolt out for that cover, but it seemed to me to mate to a metal port. So I need to remove that cover and inspect for leaks around that sub assembly. Is this something that is done on a TB/WP job?

I have learned a valuable lesson tho, do the work myself.

Thank you for helping me out.
