Mmmmm bearded woman, I mean crawfish.

Anyone in the southeast, Publix carried everthing on the list including the crawfish. Sam's making it tonite instead of thursday since that menu is planned and there's no room on the stovetop whatever that means.

use "Florida" instead of "southeast"... not everywhere in the southeast has Publix... but of course, not everybody in the southeast has to actually go all where's waldo to find crawfish.

My input about crawfish...........sparkplug is right, the US raised is much better than the chinese. When I make this again, and I will because it is fxxxing awesome, I will only use US raised.

I cannot believe that you bastards eat food from China. I'm sure I do during the course of life, but I won't knowingly eat it.

It was a lot harder finding US raised crawfish.........I had to get it from a fish store in santa cruz. I had the wife's friend bring it to us..........she only got a pound so I had to quickly get another pound which was chinese.

It was good to see, smell and taste the difference.

I bet it will be easier to find US crawfish when the harvest happens in the sacramento river delta.

There is a crawfish farm about ten miles from me. Or, I can just go to the lake and set out traps. As a kid, we used to get them out of ditches. Those buggers are everywhere if you just look.

we have none of those here in town... but i can also buy as many crawfish as I want at roadside stands..

It depends on the store. I've been in Ingallses that blow publix out of the water.

As a kid, I used to fish a lot of the streams in the Santa Cruz mountains, I always caught more crayfish than trout
