SOLD. I'll try to change the post title too, but not sure if I can find the right menu! Ha.

Chasing a starter problem has pushed me over the edge. I think I can stumble my way through almost any repair - see the build thread (HA!), but chasing what seems to be an electrical gremlin (solenoid clicks but new starter doesn't turn) has become too much with everything else in life. I just don't have time or will anymore to deal with it. .

Too much to list here:
5.3L V8
H55 five speed transmission
ARB lockers front and rear
dual battery setup
long range tank
ARB front bumper with Warn
dual swingout rear
blasted and powder-coated frame
every bearing I can think of is brand new
all new steering parts
new brakes all around
frame-off:
-soundproofing
-weather proofing
-rust proofing

Inside notable stuff:
Power inverter hard wired to Optima yellow top (flip the switch for 220 house power for your computer or coffee pot!)
sound deadening throughout
great shape (one small crack) dash pad
GPS speedo and actual-reading temp/pressure gauges from SpeedHut
Alpine stereo (in tuffy - the dash still holds the original)
Rowland panels all around
tuffy console
push button start
a bunch of extra interior parts that I suppose I won't need anymore

It makes me sad to list all that stuff and think of it going away, but not as mad as the truck makes me when I don't have time to work on it!! hahaha.

Might not be a selling point exactly, but you can see all the pain and tribulations of the build and get some appreciation for the work that was done here:
Let it Begin! 87 frame off, vortec, H55...

You'll have to make me sell it; it's time to go, but I can't/won't give it away. Let's start talking at $15k and see if we can meet somewhere reasonable for both of us. First come will get first consideration but I'll ultimately take the highest price if someone comes along second...I'm a fair person and am not looking for some bidding war BS, but also respect that not everyone is watching every thread at every minute.

Thanks for looking.

Trav.-

It's true. I'd rather get that, than chase this problem.

Incidentally ('cause my little ego just can't stand being called out online), I did find the parasitic draw this morning.

But, I'd invite ya' to put your money where your mouth is and come help me fix some of this other s***. You bring the brain I'll supply the wrenches and the beer.

Pay for my 10 mpg to get there :), I'd rather help you fix it then see you sell it and regret the excellent (and hard) work you put in so far. I'd hate that as much as you.

You've made it this far, just take a break and come back to it. Don't mind my bit of hard encouragement :)

haha. Roger.

Talking to 'yeti' above about the sale...we'll see if I get an offer I can't refuse, but your advice is well taken. It's been a lot of good work that I'd hate to see go. Maybe some more effort is in order.

Sale pending. I'll close the loop here once we close the sale.

I'm a little surprised I can let it go, but....well yeah.
