Non muddy situations it might be cool

I saw that as well and good use of a tent not just for the roof. Could be a good option for many. Weight and price point is appealing.

It's an interesting concept, but at the end of the day, it's a small tent that includes a mattress, and which you can put on a roof-rack platform. It seems the same can be done with virtually any backpacking tent.

In any case, definitely have to give them props for pushing something new to the market.
