Hey all. Rob Blakeman here. I have a friend who is selling a 40 series for a friend. I know, friend of a friend, haha. Anyhow, it is an early 80's and it has a 406 Cruisers sticker in the back window. It made me wonder if any of you know this vehicle and would like first crack at it. The owner sent the following info to my friend: "Extensive rust repairs include new front fenders and rear quarter panels, all new body rubber, new power steering, Weber carb, Old Man EMU lift kit, shocks and steering damper, new brakes, new tie rods, new Toyota NOS dash pad, new windshield, electronic ignition, plugs, cap, rotor, Warn Winch, many stock parts included (see photos)." I drove it and it looked like to me, the remaining body work is from the windows up. It has an inline six and three speed tranny. which I assume is original, and the tranny has a non-synchronous first gear which I found annoying to drive. Anyhow, lots of pics can be found on the dropbox link below. He is asking 23K.

I’ve got some 295/70/17 Nitto terra G2s that I no longer have the need for. 10-11/32 of tread left and overall good wear. Do have some chunking from off-road use but minor. Looking for $400 but definitely willing to make a deal. Thanks!

I’ve got a buddy who would likely like that front ARB. Sorry to see a good one die.

95 LC for sale parked downtown Bozeman at the old Safelite shop. Not affiliated but it looks pretty nice from the outside. Sign in the window says its on CL. I drive a 100, but I like to look at 80s. That's not creepy is it.

You should buy it. Then you could look at it whenever you want
I like where you're going, but I think I need talked down from the ledge, not pushed over.
And besides, I can't look at an 80 without picturing @TommyGuns 37 inch meat eaters stuffed under one. That's the cat's meow right there.

posted this 40 up in the classifieds:

No affiliation, but this one has good potential:

I talked with him. Good candidate for a V8 swap, but I don’t like the color. I offered $1500 and he didn’t jump.
