GX or LX?
you posted in the 100-series (ie LX) section.
Regardless, pics aren’t too descriptive but it doesn’t look horrible to me.

EDIT…I now see your post in the GX section.

lol its my first time on a forum. trial and error i suppose

If you are anywhere in the rust belt then this is not too bad. If you are in California then you can do much better.

Doesn't look bad at all. Of its a deal then get it. Tell us more info on $ and we'll tell you if it's a deal or not. Also previous maintenance records etc?

Be sure to check the radiator core support area, and the PS framerail just behind the front tire. The AC drain line drips on that area and it's not uncommon for the frame to rust from the inside out. It's hard to tell if that rust is surface rust or deeper, so I'd also probe around and see if there is any depth to it. If you can get a cheap inspection camera and look inside the frame, that would also be informative.

If you do but it you'll need to undercoat it and reapply annually to keep the rust at bay. Those of us here in the middle of the country do that all the time, but I can't imagine you'll find many undercoating shops in CA, so you'll have to DIY (not a big deal - I did mine DIY with Woolwax and a spray gun).

Looks like surface rust.
