Y'all are funny. I don't know any history on it. I'm not gonna part it out. Body is too solid for a pig to not build. That being said I would probably drive it the way it is. Carb needs rebuilt and engine can be turned over by hand. Po said it ran fine. I don't know any history. That price is a stlca price only. Everywhere else it's $2750. I don't care if I sell it because it's a cool old pig.

Is there frame damage? The front and rear look really wonky from the pics and the grill/fenders look pretty jacked up.

We have discussed a pig, but can't (read don't need to) take on anything else right now. I got to thin the herd a little before I get into anything else. GLWS

Frame is good. Back bumper is homemade job so they could pull a trailer. It's solid and not tweaked but the way it's setting would leave you to believe that. Also 4 mismatched tires with various air pressure.

Stop helping. :p

I'm into stirrin the pot tonight so gonna help Jason. Buy it, Buy it, buy it!!

Call it a birthday present to self. Happy B-day bud!!

I have a set of 4 80 wheels and yokahama tires for sale. the wheels are in good shape and have center caps. the tires are 265/75/16 with very low miles. would like to get $500 for all. may come to gsmtr and could bring them with me.

Cleaning out the garage and I've got a few parts to get rid of. Two OME 60070 shocks for an 80. They have less than 500 miles on them, just swapped them for the L shocks. I also have a couple OME SD23 steering stabilizers. These are new in box and fit a stock 40 series steering setup.

$60 each

Lowered the price to $450 for wheels and tires listed above. Also have a set of stock height Monroe shocks with about 1500 miles on them I'd throw in too. ***SOLD***

Anybody have a drivers side front fender/quarter panel for an FJ62? Looking to visit my mother in Hixson in the next month and would love to bring one home!

Finally getting around to lifting my 80, Looking at a few options between an Ironman 2", Tough Dog 2", or the OME 2.5". Anyone have thoughts or experience buying any of these at any outfitter in TN? I am in the Chattanooga and not partial to a second hand lift if anyone knows of anyone selling one I would greatly appreciate it.

Not familiar with Tough Dog. Guessing that is a new Australian import? Iron Man seems to be making strides at getting into the market. You are looking at a pretty good time as there are a number of new folks getting into the 80 market. My opinion is OME works, but as of late their shocks seem to be losing favor. I don't have any real experience with any but OME myself, but I just finished swapping a second hand slee setup onto my 91, so hoping to get some seat time on it soon.

If I was starting from scratch I'd be looking at slinky, icon and some of the other folks who are out there. I have been looking at a slinky set of coils for my other rig. Fox, icon ironman and a number of others are offering shocks as well.

To be honest, I may be pushing you way into a place your not looking to go. For a couple inches, you cant go wrong with an OME kit, or the Ironman package. Stay around that height and you shouldn't get into any other major issues, go much higher and be ready to start doing caster correction, chasing driveline vibs and other little things that will add up in the end.

If your lookong for some height comparisons, check the 80 series thread a few lines down, I put some pictures in there that show some various comparisons. I think there is also some info on ome springs and expected height with each of their springs.

@appalachian

While Tough Dog is new to the US market, they have been making and selling kits for the cruisers since 1984. Tough Dog is also an approved OE replacement for Toyota and is stocked in the Toyota dealer warehouses in Africa and the Middle East. Dual rate coils for the 80 series with 41mm bore foam cell shocks. I stock the 2" 80 lift kits with a few options.

These the ones you had on the 4runner for a while?

@reevesci I was looking at the your website because I have only heard good things about the Tough Dog. My biggest question was, what happens if I decide to go with a 4''? Am I gonna be looking at having to extend brake lines or anything like that? Sorry I am a newbie to the LC world.
@jynx If I could afford to slinky my pig I would good sir. Looking for anything around $1200 range.
